(It's free!)
English and Spanish Versions
By Lisa R. Goodell
I developed this tract to be handed out with Life Saver or Gummi Saver candy to
trick-o-treaters when they come to your house on Halloween. It can also be used at
any time of the year (as the word
"Halloween" isn't mentioned). Copies can be made for noncommercial
use. What that means is that you may use this tract at outreach events,
Sunday School class, for any type of alternative Halloween activity, etc. as
long as it's given out free. I do not authorize the sale of the text
of this tract. I pray that this can be a FREE resource that people might use to further the Kingdom of
Heaven. (I don't make any money from this. In fact I pay to keep this
website online). Please email me with any comments, or suggestions. I would really love to hear what you think about it and
especially hear how you used it. Thanks.
A note about the Life Saver candy: When I was little there were the smaller size rolls of Life Savers that were sold at Halloween.
Some years you can still find them, other years you cannot. You may end up finding
"Gummi Savers" in the Halloween candy aisle. The difference between the two is that instead of being hard candy, Gummi savers are
"gummi." They are still shaped like Life Savers, and the Life Saver logo is on the package.
Click on the links below to read through the tract page by page. After you read the fourth page you can come back here to download it. NOTE: When you download it, it will all print out on one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11" paper.

Note
about the Spanish
version: The graphics are the same as the English
version, only the words are in Spanish. I had trouble adding accents and
correct punctuation. Lo siento. Many thanks and
blessings to Jackie Bolta who offered to translate it!!

What
do I do after it's printed?
Folded Method: Fold the top edge of the paper down to the bottom edge. Then take the left side and fold to the right. When done, it should open like a common greeting card. Pages 2-3 should be seen when the "card" is opened. (Wow, it is hard to accurately explain this, but I trust you all know what I'm trying to describe). Attach the candy with string or tape to where the folded corners meet. The graphics are in color. You can print it in color (or grayscaled with non-color printer). Then
xerox. The individual life saver graphics can be colored in later if desired.
Two-sided Method: After the booklet version is printed out, cut and paste (with real scissors and tape) so the booklet can be copied back-to-back (or two sided). If it is done right, after making
another copy, all you have to do is cut the paper in the middle, fold once and you have two complete booklets from one piece of 8 1/2 x 11" paper. Hope that makes sense.
Do not attempt this if you are copy-machine challenged. <grin>
