There are  a lot of fun things you can do when you mix Pearl Ex powders and Future Floor Finish (FFF).  Find this household product in most grocery type stores.. near cleaning supplies like Mop' n Glo... it is a floor wax for linoleum flooring).  The coolest thing about it is that the FFF is a sealer, so after it dries, you shouldn't have to go back and spray seal it or Modge Podge it, etc.!!

To mix Pearl Ex and FFF...  I just pour little of the wax in a little plastic tray with little wells for mixing paint.  Anyway, then I take my SU paintbrush and just pick up some pearl ex powder, and then mix it in.  I don't measure anything.  It it's too light, add more powder.  Too dark, add more FFF.

Things to try: Dominoes, lunch tins, Cardstock, watercolor paper... pretty much paper, plastic, tin, etc. will work.  And again, it doesn't have to be sealed afterwards.  This is one of my most favorite techniques!!!

First project: Use this technique on Dominoes.  For the one on left I used the pearl ex  mixed with Future floor wax to paint the two colors on the background.  The beauty of Future Floor Wax is that you don't have to seal it at all. Just let it dry - which doesn't take too long.  Then I just used Versamark to gold emboss the trees on top.

For the one on the right, I stamped the image with StazOn (but I think it would look better if it was black embossed). Then I painted it in with the same pearl ex/Future Floor wax combination.
